My first time trip to oversea...unintended one actually is to Qatar...
So, here the story...
During my holiday after my final year in high school, my mom called and offered to send me for umrah together with my aunt's family. She planned to visited Mecca but first would transited at Qatar, at her house and continued there by a long drive through Saudi Arabia. Along the way, we would visited the city at Saudi Arabia, Riyadh and spend a few days there before we performed our obligation...
However, it only remained as unfulfilled wish because when I arrived at Qatar, I actually could not get the visa to passed though Saudi Arabia as I am not a citizen of Qatar. as my aunt's family got their citizenship 5 years ago, they could get their visa easily but because of me, they cancelled the trip and planned to go after I returned home.
Although I was quite sad, but there was nothing that I could do. So, I used the chance to spend my time enjoying the country to the fullest. I stayed there for 1 month at my aunt's house and each day was filled with adventure. They were understood that I was disappointed, so everyday they would brought me to new places and made me happy although they were busy with their works there.
The temperature there was so cold as it was winter during my visit. I actually caught cold for a few time during the whole month I was there. Another spectacular memories is when we celebrated their national day along with many foreigner there.
Although it is an unintended trip, I would treasure it as a beautiful memory for the rest of my life.
